Gatlinburg Town Square was originally developed in the early 1980's as the first high rise time share project in downtown Gatlinburg. The original program envisioned a combination of retail and commercial spaces as well as residential units. The commercial spaces were converted into residential units when it was discovered that the demand for units was in excess of original expectations. The initial development included the construction of a parking garage, enclosed swimming pool, and elevator tower designed to provide circulation for subsequent phases.

The unit design provides a master suite with whirlpool spa, a second lock out bedroom with mini kitchen and bar and whirlpool spa, living room with a fire place, dining area, kitchen area and exterior balconies.

Later phases also designed by Community Tectonics provides an additional thirty units, more parking, and another outdoor swimming pool.
