Mr. Vinson joined the staff of Community Tectonics upon his graduation from the University of Tennessee in 1973, and has been a principal in the firm since 1980. He now serves as President for the firm. Under his aggressive leadership, the company became the first totally computerized large-scale architectural firm in East Tennessee. When our clients know they need something different, but do not know quite what to ask, Mr. Vinson helps them find the answers. He has even helped them find the right questions to ask. The diverse collection of facilities commissioned to the firm gives Mr. Vinson the expertise to accurately, efficiently, and professionally manage project development. Within the last five years, Bill has been the leader of design teams that have successfully completed numerous educational facilities. His designs range from practical and functional buildings to award winning structures. Examples of these include: His expertise and assistance were invaluable to the design teams for the new Claiborne High School and the Cumberland Gap High Schools, both in Claiborne County. Mr. Vinson recently completed the design for Helen Devos Academic Building at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. He served as Project Principal for the West Middle School in Tullahoma, Tennessee. His expertise and assistance were invaluable to the design teams for the new Walters State Community College Library, Morristown, Tennessee. Bill is currently serving as Project Principal for the Family and Consumer Sciences building for Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City Tennessee. His expertise and assistance were invaluable to the design teams for the new 180 Facility for the Westmore Church of God, Cleveland, Tennessee, one of only three such facilities in Tennessee. Mr. Vinson recently completed the master plan design for the New United Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Bill
is currently serving as Project Principal for Grace Baptist Church, youth
